ReStory allows you to perform smart file sharing within Groups.

Folder options

The folder options comprises of options which are performed on folders.

Create folder

ReStory allows you to create folders. To create a folder successfully, you have to specify the name of the new folder.




Rename folder

This function allows you to rename folders.



Delete folder

As a member and as an administrator, you can delete folders including the files in this folder.



Download folder

To download a folder, simply click on it. You can then save it locally on your own computer.



File options

Share file

Click on share file to upload a new file to ReStory. You must provide a name, which can be different from the real file name, and a description. Then click on browse to select the file that you want to share with the other group members.



Update file

If you made changes to an uploaded file, select the file and click on update. The old file will be saved and displayed in the version history.

View history

The history function allows you to view and download all versions of the files, as well as see information on when the file was updated and by whom.



Download file

To download a file, simply click on it. You can then save it locally on your own computer.

Lock/Unlock file

This function allows you to amend files. Researchers within a group can see who is currently working on a file. The file’s look appearance is altered, so every researcher can immediately see that somebody is working on it. However, the files are still accessible and downloadable.

Delete file

As a member and as an administrator, you can delete files as well as its whole version history.
