#### Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>

Commenting on research items is no longer possible, and all existing comments have been removed.

We understand that you may have used this feature to discuss research directly with authors, share expertise, or provide feedback. However, after careful review, we found that the commenting feature was not delivering enough value to the researchers who used it or the authors whose work was being commented on.

#### Why did we make this change? <a href="#why-did-we-make-this-change" id="why-did-we-make-this-change"></a>

Our primary goal is to help researchers be more effective in their jobs. We believe that every feature we build and maintain must actively empower you to do your best work. By discontinuing commenting and removing existing comments, we can now focus our efforts on creating better, more valuable features that truly support your scientific work.
