Skills describe the expertise, methods, and techniques you use in your research and help identify specialists in specific fields. We use them to recommend content relevant to your work, so it’s important to keep your skills up to date. Your skills section is also the place where you can list all the languages you speak.
Adding skills and languages to your profile
If you haven’t added skills or languages yet, you can them in a few simple steps:
- Go to your profile
- Click on Add your skills and languages
- Start typing the skill or language you want to add and select it from the dropdown menu
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
Note: You can add up to 30 skills.
Editing or removing skills or languages
Removing skills and languages from your profile is quick and easy:
- Go to your profile
- Scroll down to the Skills section
- Click the pencil icon
- Click the x next to the skill or language you want to remove
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
