Journal Profiles
Through a paid subscription, publishers can create official ResearchGate profiles for their journals. These Journal Profiles are a space where researchers can connect with their community, keep up with the latest research, and learn about becoming an author.
Through the process of partnering with ResearchGate, we authenticate the identity of the publisher. A Verified Badge next to a journal’s name helps you easily identify that you’re engaging with the journal’s official profile and getting trusted information from the source.
Publisher full-texts
Through partnerships with ResearchGate, publishers have made millions of version of record (VoR) journal articles available on ResearchGate, making it easier for researchers to access useful research. When publishers add open-access journal articles to ResearchGate, the VoR full-text is added to the articles’ publication pages and made available to everyone.
ResearchGate members with an institutional subscription to a journal’s articles can also access subscription articles that the publisher adds to ResearchGate. Readers who don’t have access to a journal’s content through an institutional subscription or library access can still view a publisher preview — the abstract, figures, and first page of the full-text.
Publishing opportunities
Publishers often have agreements with academic institutions that make it easier for authors from these institutions and their affiliated institutions to publish open access by covering open access publishing fees. To help researchers learn about relevant agreements, publishers that partner with us can pay to promote these publishing opportunities on ResearchGate.
You’ll be able to discover publishing opportunities that match your profile’s primary affiliation, and we’ll suggest opportunities in journals related to your scientific disciplines and activity on ResearchGate. You’ll then be able to check if you’re eligible to have your fees partly or fully covered.
